Shamrock Club
About This Spot
Walking into Shamrock Club feels like stepping into a quietly enduring chapter of Wibaux’s local story—a gathering place where time seems to move at its own steady rhythm. The exterior might not catch your eye at first, bearing the marks of years and the unvarnished reality of a small-town bar and grill with a casino tucked inside. But step past the door, and a welcoming warmth takes hold, driven by friendly faces and a sense of familiarity that invites you to settle in and linger.
The mood here is unpretentious and easygoing, shaped by a community’s love for good food and genuine hospitality. There’s a calm buzz, neither rushed nor stale, where local regulars and travelers alike find a spot to share stories over hearty plates and cold drinks. It’s the kind of place where the kitchen’s hard work shows through in every dish—from the satisfaction of a perfectly seasoned burger to the comforting richness of the pan-fried walleye or the crisp, golden onion rings that come with a generous side of garlic butter and bread.
What makes Shamrock Club memorable isn’t just what’s on the plate, but how meals are moments of connection—whether it’s a family gathering, a midweek escape, or a winter stopover on a snowy night. The service, friendly and attentive without formality, enhances that sense of homecoming, making it clear that this place values more than just filling seats. Here, you’re part of a simple, shared experience rooted in Montana’s small-town heart.
In a town where options can feel scarce, Shamrock Club holds its ground quietly, focused on delivering honest food and a relaxed atmosphere where everyone can find their corner and savor a genuine moment away from the road.

From the outside, This place is most charitable described as ugly. It has the time worn scars of age and deprivation. First impression in the door is the same. No personal interest in the "casino" that looked the same as in every othe place around. But the people-not so! They were friendly. The waitress was very nice. Hard working staff in the kitchen mad us great meals! Prices were great. The food quality excellent. The sort of place that makes one wish they had more time to just get to know the folks around there, and enjoy another meal or to while doing so.

Traveling through on a very cold and snowy night and stumbled upon this place. Amazing steaks and the vegetable beef soup with the loaf of bread and butter was the perfect feast! Try the cheese curds with ranch too! If you’re passing through stop in! It’s well worth it!

What an excellent dinner! I decided to go with the Thursday steak and shrimp special, compromised of a New York strip steak, two hand breaded jumbo shrimp as well as homemade potato (tots) and bacon soup and a side of potatoes. The soup was home cooked and delicious, and the hand breaded shrimp were absolutely perfect. My NY strip steak was nicely seasoned and cooked to my requested temp. My complements to the chefs! Service was a little spotty , they seemed short staffed? But who isn't these days) but got the job done.

We came out all the way from Bismarck to visit this area. The Shamrock club was amazing! Best Walleye we've ever had, the service was excellent, and we had a great time. Thank you.

Love the shamrock club in wibaux. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We've stayed in other towns in MT and absolutely love this place. I had the longhorn burger with fries and its was juicy and flavorful. I'll be stopping here again.

Felt a little uncomfortable, but it was probably just because this is a tiny town in the middle of nowhere in the middle of Eastern Montana, which itself is in the middle of nowhere, that don't see many out of towners. The food must be decent as the kids all loved it and actually ate. Normally, they are a picky bunch. Idon't want to say anything negative about this place. Maybe the uncomfortable feeling we had was our own fault because we're used to being in places where we are known and feel really welcomed. So, nothing negative to say about this place, but a nice little out of the way restaurant, casino, and bar. I will say, i was pretty surprised that the cost of two orders of fries, a cheeseburger with fries and an order of mozzarella sticks came up to nearly $50, my wife and I didn't even eat as we wanted to wait until we hit miles city. Kind of glad we didn't, we may have paid closer to hundred dollars for burgers.
